An uncoiler is an essential piece of equipment in an automated sheet metal production line. Its functions are twofold: first, to support the steel coil by tightening its inner bore; and second, to feed the end of the steel strip into the leveling machine through rotation in conjunction with a straightener. The uncoiler’s main shaft has two functions: driving the steel coil to rotate and providing tension and support.
The leveling machine is based on the Bauschinger effect of metal materials. It eliminates the original curvature difference of the sheet material by repeatedly bending it with multiple rollers.
